One Night Stand Page 10

I waited with her for the cab to come and I could see her mentally checking out and putting all her walls back up. I was only finally cracking through to her and now this douchebag had her locking me out again. I was livid. She texted me a simple “home”, thirty minutes later and I was relived she was safe and home but wished I could be with her. I’d have to ask her about Mathers and what he wanted. I could get the guy banned, if he was messing with her. Mathers had been coming down for over a year now at least once a week, I knew what kind of guy he was and if he had any intentions of even thinking of messing around with a sweet girl like Leah, like he had with any of his other previous trash, he had another thing coming to him.

I woke up in the late afternoon the next day and checked my phone for any messages from Leah and was disappointed to see there were none. I got ready for the long night ahead of me and decided to put myself out there and text Leah, asking her if she wanted to get together the next day. The hours rolled by with no reply from Leah and I went to work feeling slightly agitated.

“You okay bro?” Julian asked, as we stood at the door waiting for people to start showing up. I nodded my head unconvincingly.

“Just tired,” I muttered crankily and I was, I’d never put so much effort into anyone or anything and I didn’t feel like I was getting anywhere. It was infuriating. Julian passed me a beer and I chugged it down, letting the buzz lift my sour mood. By the end of the night and my fourth beer in, I was feeling pretty good again.

“Axel!” I heard a high-pitched squeal. I turned to see Ashley running up to me.

“Ash,” I greeted. She was a very bad one night stand that I couldn’t seem to shake. She’d gotten to be very clingy after one awful night and now she seemed to be everywhere I went: my work, my favorite hangouts with my friend, even my grocery store. It was freaking me out a little.

“How’s it going?” She smiled wide, clearly enamored with me, it was nice to have this effect on a girl. I just wished it had been on Leah.

“Good.” I smiled, enjoying being the eye of her attention, for once. Something I never had before but after all the rejection I’d been getting from Leah it was nice to feel wanted.

She linked her arms around my neck and moved her mouth to my ear and whispered.

“Do you want to come back to my place again?”

I hesitated, thinking about it long and hard. I was about to fuck it and say yes, when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I quickly pushed her back a step to check my phone and saw Leah’s name on the screen.

“No Ashley. I’m good,” I said, backing up from her. I read Leah’s message saying that we could meet for lunch tomorrow. I scolded myself for nearly having made a huge mistake with Ashley. Ashley looked at me with such confusion and hurt that I felt bad for her. She walked away like a dog kicked to the curb but there was nothing I could do to change that. My mood instantly felt lifted and I felt like a fool for having drunk so much on the job and nearly ruined this between Leah and I before it had even really started.

I DECIDED IT WOULD BE best for Axel to come over to my place for lunch, instead of going out. For one, I didn’t want people seeing us together and assuming we were a couple and having gossip spread like wildfire. Secondly, I didn’t want to risk running into Chris. And thirdly, I wanted to talk to him about stuff I didn’t feel comfortable sharing in public. I dressed casually in a comfy sweater and a pair of leggings, trying to not look like I was trying, which I wasn’t. I buzzed Axel up and opened my door to him. He was stunning as always, rocking a dark pair of blue jeans and a gray knit sweater, making him look all the more sophisticated.

“Hi,” I said dreamily, as I checked him out. My eyes widened at the realization of my own actions.

“Hey.” Axel smirked knowingly and with a sexy smile, he bent lower to kiss me softly on the lips. We made small talk while I finished cooking our lunch.

“What happened Friday night between you and Mathers?” Axel straight out asked me, catching me off-guard. I hadn’t expected him to bring that up yet. I felt my food turn to sawdust in my mouth. He knew Chris? I wondered at him knowing Chris’ last name.

“Do you know Chris?” I asked, my pulse quickening in anticipation and dread. He nodded slowly, examining my face. I wasn’t the best at keeping my emotions at bay and knew he could read it all over my face.

“He’s been a regular at Duke’s for over a year now,” Axel explained. That was news to me; Chris had never once mentioned Duke’s. I decided to be honest with Axel and start from the beginning. He deserved that much of me.

“I just got out of a long relationship,” I started, watching his expression now turn to surprise. “It was really a truly awful break up,” I said grimacing. Axel took my hand on the table and held it in his, giving me a small squeeze of comfort.

“How long?” he asked lightly, clearly interested.

“Over a year. I met him during my first year in orientation,” I explained. Axel nodded, processing all of this information. “He decided he wanted a break during the summer when I decided to take my intensive class and go to Germany. That’s when I saw a picture of him hooking up with a random girl. I was crushed, he had said we would get back together when I got back and he just needed time and then the day before I was coming home, I saw the picture,” I told him, I needed all my courage to continue. “That’s also the day I met you,” I continued, his eyes widened at my words and he removed his hand from mine looking hurt. He deserved to know the truth, I never got it and it hadn’t been right. I hated hurting Axel but he had to know. “Chris and I got back together when I got back from my trip,” I stated. “We were together up until two weeks ago when I found my best friend’s bra under his bed and learned that he’d been cheating on me with Chelsea and God knows how many other girls.” His mouth opened in pure shock and he put his hand back over mine as if to help comfort me. “Chelsea was the blonde I was with at the bar, we had been best friends for over seven years. I still can’t believe it.” Neither of us said anything for a full minute, his eyes seemed to just be calculating and adding up all the information.

“Chris is your ex-boyfriend.” He stated looking pale. I nodded slowly, wincing at the words. He swallowed hard and continued, “And I am,” he stopped short, looking even paler. I could hear the words in his head, “just a rebound, a fuck buddy to help you forget.”

“I’m not looking for a serious relationship and I’m not ready for one,” I admitted, cutting him off from whatever he was going to say and explaining myself. He nodded solemnly. “I like you and I’m having fun with you. I’ve never done anything like this but I’d like to continue,” I told him making myself clear, his bright green eyes grew pale and he hesitated, thinking this all out. I knew it was a lot to take in all at once. I felt my heart beat faster in anticipation as the silence stretched.

  “Okay,” he said simply.

I quirked my head, confused, waiting for him to continue with conditions. When he didn’t, I asked.

“Okay for us to continue this?” He nodded, his lips tight, not in a frown but not in a smile either, he held a neutral expression. I really wished I knew what was going through his head. “Okay,” I said, feeling a little relieved but also uncomfortable from the tension in the room. We finished our pasta and I tidied up after us.

“Do you want to watch a movie?” He asked me as we stood awkwardly beside each other.

“Sure,” I agreed, hoping this would lighten the mood.

I let Axel pick some comedy as we lay on my bed. I was watching quietly as his hand moved up my leg to my sensitive area. I let my head fall back on the bed as I closed my eyes and moaned out loud in pleasure as his fingers stroked me through my leggings. It only encouraged him and he slowly put his hand under the seam of my pants to reach my bare pussy. I cried out as his hands expertly massaged my sex. His thumb circled my clit agonizingly slow before he stroked it and stuck two fingers into my vagina, simultaneously pumping me at the same time. I cried out as an orgasm gr
ew and burst behind my eyes. No one had ever made me come using just their hands and I lay panting with surprise and joy from the amazing orgasm.

“I love watching you come undone,” he said huskily in my ear. I rolled over to face him and took his lips with mine as I reached for his member. I grasped his long, thick cock in my hand and pumped it, trying to return the favor but his hand held my arm firm, stopping me.

“It’s okay, I just wanted to do that for you. You don’t have to do this,” he said, surprising me once again, making me want him that much more. I grabbed a condom from the drawer of the nightstand, a stash I’d put there since his last visit.

“I need you,” I told him honestly. His eyes widened and he smiled as I mounted him, rolling the condom down his dick and then siding down it, until he completely filled me. I’d become addicted to his huge cock and rode him for all I was worth, waiting to reach that sweet release again. I was counting my lucky stars when I found it, thankful that he’d agreed to our arrangement and I could continue enjoying him and the unimaginable pleasure that he gave me.

Over the next few weeks Axel and I fell into a routine. I’d see him every Monday on his day off and he’d sleepover, as well as on Wednesday after my clinical and then I’d see him again on Friday for a bit before he went to work. I was seeing him more than I’d ever seen Chris, it was weird but I liked it. We’d come to be friends and I actually enjoyed spending time with him but I still found myself avoiding being in public with him. Something that he had noticed.

“I love your cooking Leah,” Axel started to say, Monday when he came over after my class for our night together, “but I’d like to take you out,” he finished, making me a little anxious. I usually cooked for us or occasionally we’d order in takeout and get it delivered but we never actually hung out in public, this would be a first for me and I wasn’t sure if I was ready. I was nervous I’d run into someone I knew and get a reputation. I also feared going out was a relationship move and I didn’t want that either. I was trying my best not to get attached and to keep this all simple.

“There’s a wing night at one of my favorite pubs and I’d like to take you there,” he continued, knowing my love for chicken wings, they were my favourite food.

“Okay,” I hesitated, feeling anxious now. I felt it was only fair to agree, after how patient and understanding he always was with me. He smiled widely and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close against his warm chest.

“Thanks.” He smiled. “I know we’ve been avoiding the public scene but I don’t think we should,” he said, giving me more courage. I nodded my head in agreement; I’d been a bit silly and drastic. “Plus, there’s plenty of things I’d like to do to you in public,” he said huskily, winking at me. I loved when Axel talked dirty to me and I felt the hairs on the back of my neck rise. I had never done anything besides kissing and hand-holding in public and I found the idea more than appealing.

“I’ve never done anything like that,” I told him honestly, making his breath labor and pupils dilate in lust.

“Well, I plan on changing that,” he groaned, kissing my neck and the sensitive spot that he knew drove me crazy. “Now.” He grinned, grabbing his keys and wallet and dragged me out the door. We hopped into his black Golf and he drove us into town and then down the industrial roads to an empty factory parking lot.

“There shouldn’t be anyone around here now,” he said looking at the clock; everyone had finished work and left a good hour ago. I felt my nerves quicken with excitement as I maneuvered over the console and onto his lap. He moved his chair back and lowered it. I was so thankful I’d chosen to wear a short skirt because otherwise this would have been more challenging. We kissed passionately and I hiked my skirt up over my hips and pushed my panties to the side, opening myself to him completely. His big warm hands caressed me, before he pulled out a condom from his wallet and rolled it down his giant cock. Turned on from the excitement of it all, I rode him fast, faster than he wanted me to, unable to slow down with need to find this naughty release in public. I realized I was yelling out his name as I rode him. The sound of our moans intertwined as it echoed in the car around us.

“That was amazing.” he said, as I dismounted him and got back into my seat, both of us laughing and laying back into the chairs breathing hard. I nodded, my throat hoarse, from all the screams of pleasure. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t done that sooner, the high was something else.

“Let’s get some eats,” he said, turning on the car and putting it into drive. The pub was a short drive away and he found parking easily. We got out of his car and walked close side-by-side to wait in the line. The place was pretty busy already and it seemed wing night was popular among the masses. Everyone seemed to know Axel and greeted him by name on our way in. A pretty blonde waitress came to our table and smiled wide at seeing Axel. He didn’t return the smile and his posture stiffened at her presence, making me wonder if something had happened between them in the past.

“Hey Axel, can I get anything for you?” she asked, pushing her tits out in his face and completely ignoring me. I felt slightly uncomfortable and something else, that I wasn’t too happy about.

“I’ll have a Molson on tap and the barbecue wings,” he said and then gestured for her to take my order.

“Just water and I’ll have the same,” I told her, passing my menu over to her. I felt relieved when she left.

“Are you sure you don’t want a drink? I’m paying,” he said charmingly. I shook my head no. I didn’t want to risk getting my fake ID rejected. It honestly wasn’t very good and I had a feeling she would reject me just to make me look bad.

“It’s okay, thanks though,” I told him smiling. “Do you come here often?” I asked him to change the subject. He seemed to tense up a little bit at this.

“Yeah, I guess you could say this is my watering hole.” His lips quirked up into a small smile. I smiled at that, until the waitress returned with our drinks. She eyed Axel like he was a piece of candy that she couldn’t wait to pop into her mouth, a thought that angered me.

“Haven’t seen you much lately.” She pouted, lingering at our table longer than I liked.

“Been busy.” He shrugged clearly disinterested with her, I just wished she would get the clue. “Are you going to be having your birthday party here again?” she asked excited.

“I hadn’t thought about it much,” he replied, clearly bored with the conversation.

“But you always do.” Her surprise was evident. He merely shrugged and looked back at me, ignoring her presence. She finally left again, allowing me to relax a bit.

“When’s your birthday?” I asked curious. It was something we had never talked about.

“It’s still over a month away.” He smiled warmly, taking a sip of his beer.

“How old will you be turning?” I asked, bringing up the question I’d been longing to ask for a long time now.

“Twenty-five,” he said. My eyes widened in surprise. Wow, he was almost six years older than me! Axel noticed my surprise and turned the question around on me, something I was hoping he wouldn’t. “How old are you?” he asked, interested now. I bit my bottom lip, nervous to tell him.

“Nineteen,” I told him, inwardly cringing as I watched him choke on his beer and his eyes widen in shock.

“You’re nineteen,” he repeated in disbelief. I nodded feeling embarrassed, my cheeks hot and, no doubt, red.

“You’re so young. I had no idea,” he muttered almost to himself. He probably thought I was over twenty-one and I felt guilty having not told him sooner. I nodded my head, looking down with embarrassment. He lifted my chin and held it so I had no choice but to look into his beautiful captivating green eyes.

“I don’t care about your age,” he stated, making me blush a different kind of blush. “I was just surprised is all, you seem much older.” He smiled, rubbing my chin as he held my gaze, I smiled back feeling relieved. The annoying blonde waitress returned with our food but this tim
e didn’t linger, thankfully. We dug into our wings, both hungry after our little escapade earlier.

“These are actually the best wings I’ve ever had.” I grinned, licking my fingers. His eyes widened as he watched me and his lips parted, enjoying what he was seeing. “No wonder you like it here,” I commented.

“We’ll have to come back.” He smiled as he paid the bill. I had offered to pay my half but as usual, Axel wouldn’t have it. He was always trying to spoil me, something I found incredibly sweet and different to my previous relationship.

“Thank you,” I said, touched by his thoughtfulness once again. He acted like it was nothing which just made it mean more. Chris rarely paid for me and when he did, he made a big show of it, even though he was loaded and it was all his parent’s money. Axel worked hard for everything he had and still, he went out of his way to try and make my life easier, it amazed me.

We slipped out of the restaurant and got back into his car. Axel drove us down a dark street and parked the car, it was more out in the open, with houses all around but there were no street lights. I reached over and kissed him hard. Things got heated and passionate quickly as they usually did when it came to us. Axel drove us back to my place after our second sexual exploit. I was exhausted and flopped onto my bed, Axel joining me. He pulled me up against him cuddling me, something I usually tried to avoid but was too tired and too comfortable to stop.
